Duaine L. Vanden Boogard, age 78, of Combined Locks, passed away peacefully on Saturday afternoon, September 2, 2023. Duaine was born on November 23, 1944, to the late Sylvester and Johanna (De Wildt) Vanden Boogard in Appleton. He attended and graduated from Kimberly High School in 1962.
For over 20 years Duaine worked at Kimberly Clark in Kimberly. His many passions were music, fishing and gardening.
He is survived by his sister Patricia (Bill) Behrent of Appleton; nieces and nephews: Cheryl Steves, Bryan Behrent and Gary Behrent. In addition, he is survived by many cousins, relatives and friends.
Duaine was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Sharon Vanden Boogard.
A funeral liturgy will take place on September 11, 2023, at 12:00pm at St Paul Catholic Church, 410 E Wallace Street, Combined Locks with Father Bob Spegman presiding. Friends and family may gather at the church from 11:00am until the start of mass. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
