Dr. Mark W. Bichler

Dr. Mark W. Bichler, 65, a lifelong resident of Wisconsin, passed away on May 5, 2021, at the Marshfield Medical Center, Marshfield, WI, following ongoing health issues.

Born June 28, 1955 in Kaukauna WI, the son to Julian and Rene Bichler. Mark was a graduate of Kaukauna High School, the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire and the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.   Upon graduation, Dr Mark returned to his hometown, to help establish the Haanen-Bichler Chiropractic Clinic in Kaukauna. Following many years of highly successful practice, a serious neck injury resulted in an early retirement in the mid 1990’s.

Known to be an avid Packer Fan, as well as sportsman, Mark was passionate and skilled, as a hunter of deer, elk, caribou and more, as well as a fabulous fisherman, having had traveled frequently, to distant wilderness locations.   Mark made friends at every stage in his life. The person, his personality, were just larger than life. A devout Christian, who wore his faith on his sleeve and whose sole purpose in his later years, was to serve Jesus Christ, as well as introduce the grace to others.

Mark is survived by his three children: Courtney (Josh) Janotta of Hebden Bridge, UK; Dr Justin Bichler (Erin Freud) of Wauconda, IL; Jarrod Bichler of Kaukauna, WI; Christine Bichler of Kaukauna WI ( a special friend); his cat “Joey” and three brothers: Dr Joel Bichler (Kathy); Dr Greg Bichler (Cindy); Kurt Bichler (Jean). Along with many nephews, a niece and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on June 27, 2021 at 11:00 am with a visitation from 10:00am until the time of service at Wichmann Funeral Home, Tri-County Chapel 1592 Oneida St. Menasha, WI 54952.
