Dorothy R. Leitch

Age 75, died at her home on Monday, May 20, 2002, following a brief illness. Dorothy was born in Milwaukee on November 25, 1926, daughter of the late John and Anna (Marachevka) Lakomski. She attended school in Milwaukee, but resided in California for most of her adult life. She married Robert Leitch in California on April 23, 1966; he preceded her in death in 1986. For the past several years, Dorothy made her home in Kaukauna where she assisted the teachers in the Home Economics classrooms.

She is survived by a son: John (Lynn) Christopher of Kaukauna and their children Greg (Natasha) Christopher and Vince Christopher; and by a daughter: Karen Christopher of Appleton and her twin daughters Kristen and Kai Christopher. Dorothy is also survived by a great-granddaughter: Jocelyn Christopher, as well as by three brothers and four sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert in 1986, a daughter Christine Butticci, a brother, and a sister.

A prayer service for Dorothy will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2002 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home chapel with Fr. Robert Udulutsch, OFM. Cap. officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 8:30 AM until the hour of the service.
