Dorothy P. Loll

Dorothy Loll, age 82 of Appleton, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, May 4, 2018 at her home in Appleton. Dorothy was born in Cicero, Illinois on November 21, 1935, daughter of the late John and Anna (Rossbach) Baratka. In November of 1955, Dorothy married Sheldon Loll in Cicero; he preceded her in death in 1994.

Dorothy was a faithful and active member of Holy Spirit Parish in Darboy where she often led communion services for the parishioners. She also volunteered her time at Harbor House and through the Menasha Senior Center.

Dorothy is survived by four children: Michael Loll of Florida, Randall Loll of California, Anthony (Tina) Loll of Colorado, and Dori (Tim) Hayward of Neenah. There are also seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, a brother: John (Carol) Baratka of Illinois, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Roger Loll and a grandson Jeremy Montes.

A prayer service for Dorothy will be held at 5:00 PM on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Holy Spirit Parish, Holy Angels Church in Darboy. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church on Sunday from 3:00 PM until the hour of the service.

The final commendation and graveside prayers will take place at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 21 at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, located at 1400 S. Wolf Road in Hillside, Illinois. There, Dorothy will be laid to rest along with her husband and son.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial to the charity of your choice.
