PLONT, DOROTHY M.

Dorothy Plont, age 87, of Appleton, died on Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Dorothy was born on August 23, 1919, in the Town of Lawrence to the late George and Ethel (Goddard) Opicka. She married Clyde Plont; he preceded her in death on Febraury 28, 1990. Survivors include her children, Kenneth Plont, Green Bay; Marlene Plont, Appleton; and JoAnn (Daryl) Karklus, Muskego, Wisconsin; and her dear friend, Barbara Hokenstad, Appleton; her grandchildren, David (Angie) Karklus, Tony Karklus, John (Deborah) LaFond, Jim (Kimber) LaFond, Darlene (DeWayne) Thomas, Debbie LaFond; many great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by he daughter Jean LaFond Bennett. Funeral services will at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2007, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, Tri-County Chapel, Menasha, with Rev. Kurt Kovanen officiating. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Friday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services.
