Dorothy M. Fox

Age 94, passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 2004 at St. Paul Elder Services in Kaukauna. Dorothy was born in Dousman, Wisconsin on September 8, 1910, daughter of the late Peter and Helen (Van Ert) Weyenberg. On September 18, 1933 she married Fred Fox in Kimberly; he preceded her in death in 1993. Dorothy was a longtime and faithful member of Holy Name Parish and its Christian Mothers’ Society, the Catholic Order of Foresters, and was a charter member and the first president of the Kimberly Homemakers’ Club. Dorothy is survived by three daughters: Priscilla (Jacob) Bons of Mesa, Arizona, Mariann (Roy) Vandenberg of Appleton, and Christy Fox of Appleton; a son: Ted (Janice) Fox of Winneconne; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a brother: Harold Weyenberg of Neenah; two sisters-in-law: Anna Weyenberg of Kimberly and Edithe Weyenberg of Waukegan, Illinois, as well as by many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Fred, brothers John T. (Bertha) Weyenberg, Louis H. Weyenberg, Royal F. Weyenberg, Benedict (Elaine) Weyenberg, and Sylvester P. Weyenberg, and a sister Agnes (Joe) Dupont.

The funeral liturgy for Dorothy will be held at 4 PM on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at HOLY NAME CATHOLIC CHURCH, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly, with Fr. David Belongea, OFM. Cap. officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Tuesday from 2 PM until the hour of the liturgy.
