Dorothy M. Cummings

Dorothy Mae Cummings, 88, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton. She was born on December 30, 1931, in Eau Claire, the daughter of Lawrence Magadanz and Lucille Magadanz (Klein). Dorothy was united in marriage to Gordon Louis Cummings on Feb. 8, 1949, and he preceded her in death. She loved gardening, reading, bowling, playing cards and just enjoying time with friends. Dorothy was a devoted wife, caring mother, and a special grandmother.

Dorothy is survived by her son: Gary (Nancy) Cummings, Fox Crossing; her daughter: Shirley,  Appleton; and 2 grandsons: Sol Cummings,  Greenville, and Aaron Cummings, Fox Crossing; other relatives and special friends.

In addition to her husband and parents; she is further preceded in death by a son: Dennis Lee Cummings and a brother, Larry Magadanz.

In light of current events, a private memorial service for Dorothy will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Bovina-St. Denis Cemetery, Shiocton, WI.
