Hudson, Dorothy L.

Dorothy L. Hudson, age 89, of Appleton, formerly of Neenah and Menasha, passed away at her residence, Sunday, November 9, 2008. She was born October 31, 1919, to the late Royal and Alice (Webb) Trammell, in Mt. Vernon City, Jefferson County, Illinois and had been a resident of Neenah and Menasha for 60 years. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, upholstering, she was a seamstress and enjoyed decorative painting. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Neenah, the Menasha Club, Rose Mauling Club and the Stage Fright Acting Group. Dorothy is survived by three children, Gail (Bruce) Nelson and their children, Sean and Natalie, Sacramento, CA; Craig (Janeth) Hudson and their children, Nina, Alli, Clare and Lauren, Gilroy, CA; Paula (David) Van Eperen, Neenah and their children, Stephanie (Daniel) Hart (Lucas, Olivia and Dane); Bryan Tilkens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond V. Hudson and two brothers. A memorial service for Dorothy will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, November 17, 2008, at First Presbyterian Church, 200 Church Street, Neenah, with Reverend Paul Huxtable officiating. A memorial fund is being established.
