Dorothy J. Malone

Dorothy Malone, age 86, passed away peacefully at her home early on Tuesday, July 3, 2007. Dorothy was born in Kimberly on January 29, 1921, daughter of the late Theodore and Petronella (Vander Hyden) Van Den Boogard. Dorothy attended nursing school at Mercy Medical School in Oshkosh, and later served her country as a faithful member of the United States Army. At the conclusion of the war, she remained on the West Coast and spent many years there as a surgical nurse.

{A funeral service for Dorothy will be held at 5:00 PM on Sunday, July 8, 2007 at the Wichmann Tri County Chapel. Interment will be in Holy Name Cemetery, Kimberly. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service.

The family would like to thank all of Dorothy’s caregivers, including everyone at ThedaCare at home. Your help made it possible for her to spend her final days in the comfort of her own home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
