OVERESCH, DOROTHY C.

Dorothy C. Overesch, age 82, died on Monday, May 15, 2006, at Appleton Medical Center. Dorothy was born on September 22, 1923, in Appleton, to the late Joseph and Caroline (Wuehr) Overesch. Survivors include her brothers Vernon (Ethel) Overesch, Appleton and Joseph (Janice) Overesch, Menasha; and her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Catherine and Elizabeth Overesch and her brother Jerome Overesch. Dorothy was a long-time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She loved music, playing violin and piano for friends and family. She also loved crafting and cooking. She was well-known for her strong faith. The Funeral liturgy will be at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2006, at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, 222 East Fremont Street, Appleton, with Fr. Robert Karuhn officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Appleton. Friends may call directly at the church on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Appleton Medical Center for their loving care. A memorial has been established in her name to benefit St. Joseph Food Pantry.
