Doris M. Rentner

Age 89, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at Franciscan Care Center. Doris was born in Chicago on July 16, 1914, daughter of the late Otto and Lillian (Kramp) Rentner. Doris was a graduate of Concordia University in River Forest, Illinois, and for many years taught school at Trinity Lutheran School in Menasha. She devoted her entire life to caring for her students and other school-related affairs.

Doris is survived by two sisters: Edith Rentner of Appleton and Elvira Max of Brookfield; two nieces: Fran (Dave) Lupardus of Brookfield and their children Patrick and Anne; and Margaret (Emerson) Bouchard of Shawnee, Kansas and their children Marc, Robert, and Nicole. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Lorraine, and a brother-in-law Frederick Max.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, April 12, 2004 at FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 601 E. Glendale Avenue in Appleton with Rev. Paul Brinkman officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call directly at the church on Monday from 10:30 AM until the hour of the services.
