Age 93, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at Rennes Health Center. She was born on February 7, 1912 in Appleton to the late William and Mathilda (Lange) Koehnke. While working in the secretary pool at the Institute of Paper Chemistry she met Irving H. Isenberg, fell in love, and married him on June 26, 1941. She enjoyed playing Bridge, playing piano, and reading. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity Lutheran Church Women, and Church Women United.
She will be sadly missed by her children: William H. Isenberg, Camarillo, CA, Ilene A. (Daniel Fields) Isenberg, Madison, John F. (Deborah) Isenberg, Pasadena, CA; grandchildren: Kate (Matt) Parker and their son, Samuel Reid Parker, Anna Lisette Isenberg, Karl Isenberg, Stephen Isenberg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Irving, and her sisters: Mary Goehler and Mildred Krenkel.
Funeral services for Mrs. Isenberg will be held on Monday, October 10, 2005 at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior Street, at 11 a.m. with Pastors Kurt and Mary Beth Kovanen officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
