Doris E. Danner, a longtime Kimberly resident died Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at Cherry Meadows Hospice in Appleton at the age of 84. Doris was born in Bonduel on December 28, 1920, daughter of the late Ernest and Elsie (Dingeldein) Krueger. She was married to Eugene Danner who preceded her in death in 1960. Doris retired in 1991, at the age of 70, from the Appleton Medical Center. Her marriage to Eugene was blessed with four children: Roger (Ione) Danner of Hubertus, Judy (Jim) Clark of Durham, North Carolina, Sandra (James) Tews of Darboy, and Nora (Mark) DeBruin of Combined Locks; nine grandchildren: Paul (Paula) Danner of Kaukauna, Jolene (Dale) Hoelz of Lomira, Nathan (Stephanie) Clark of North Carolina, Erin (Keri) Clark of North Carolina, Barbara (Mike) Bellile of Greenville, Debora (Tim) Wichman of Kaukauna, Linda (Andy Mongin) Rowe Tews of Kaukauna, Jay (Deanna) DeBruin of Seymour, and Jeffrey (Kelly) DeBruin of Phoenix; nine great-grandchildren: Lauren, Chelsea, Matthew, Jacob, Clayton, CaSandra, Brooklyn, Alex, and Ryan “The King”; two brothers: Fritz (Boots) Krueger of Seymour and Roger (Edna) Krueger of Cecil; a sister-in-law: Mavis Krueger of Slab City. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Eugene in 1960, three grandchildren, and brothers John Krueger and Lester (Helen) Krueger.
A memorial service for Doris will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 29, 2005 at the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Nolan Gnewuch officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service.
