Donna Rosin

Age 49, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2003 at the Appleton Medical Center after a short illness. She was born March 28, 1954, daughter of the late John Peters and Janet Kieffer Peters of Kaukauna. On April 18, 1975, Donna married Ron Rosin in Oneida; he survives. For over twenty-eight years, Donna was employed as a baker’s assistant at Rich’s Bakery in Appleton.

Survivors include her husband: Ron Rosin of Appleton; two children: Brian Rosin of Appleton and his special friend Leighle’ Donohue and Becky Rosin of Green Bay and her special friend Luke Gerrits; her mother: Janet Peters Van Handel; four sisters: Sharon (Phil) Keener, Diane (Lawrence) Regis, Shirley (Don) Conrad, Darlene (Jeff) Vanden Boogart; a brother: Ken Peters and his special friend Dar Rickert; her step-brothers and step-sisters: Mike (Marge) Bartelt, Jean (Bob) Hruska, Joyce (Bob) Luckow, Paul Van Handel, Fred (Marilyn) Van Handel, and Luke (Ellen) Van Handel.

Donna is also survived by Ron’s mother: Cordell Hurst and her special friend Leo Micke; her sisters-in-law: Sue (Marty) Becker, Shirley (Tom) Havel, Lori (Bob) Gossen, Luann Rosin and her special friend Tom Calmes, Mary Ambrose and her special friend Jim Seefeldt; brothers-in-law: Bob (Mary Kay) Rosin, Jim (Pam) Rosin, Harry (Vicky) Rosin, Carl (Sandy) Rosin, Alan Rosin, and Dennis Rosin. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Donna was preceded in death by her father John Peters, her step-father Matt Van Handel, her fathers-in-law Harold Rosin and Floyd Hurst.

The funeral liturgy for Donna will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, September 11, 2003 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street in Kaukauna with Fr. Jim Lucas officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Thursday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service.
