Age 61, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on November 11, 2001, at Colony Oaks Care Center while surrounded by her family. Donna was born at home to the late Gerhard and Evelyn (Allen) Ubbesen on September 11, 1940 in Racine, Wisconsin. She was joined in marriage to the late Martin J. Beaudoin, Jr. in 1969. Being a proud mother, grandmother, and spending time with friends was very important to Donna. Donna is survived by her son Timothy (Kelly) Beaudoin of Madison; 4 stepchildren, James (Laura) Beaudoin of Algonac, Michigan; Michael (Mary) Beaudoin of Rochester, New York; Suzanne Beaudoin of Cambridge, Wisconsin; Michelle Roesken of Appleton; 7 grandchildren, Christopher, Janelle, Michael, Michelle, Kristian, Micah, and Liam; 3 sisters, Dolores (Carlton) Peterson, Margaret (William) Tulloch, and Evelyn Larson; and many special nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Adams; and a special grandmother, Mamie Allen. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 16, 2001, at Fox Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 2600 East Philip Lane, Appleton, with Rev. Bertschausen officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. The family extends a special thank you to the people of Outagamie County Human Services and all of her dear friends who supported her over the years and throughout her battle with cancer. A memorial fund is being established.
