Donna M. Pritzl peacefully entered our Lord’s Kingdom on January 9, 2022, with family by her side. She was born in Wrightstown, Wisconsin, on May 17, 1931, daughter of the late Elzear and Martha (Lamers) Vanden Wymelenberg. Donna worked in her family’s store and Home Mutual Insurance Company until marrying Victor Pritzl in 1959 at St. Paul Catholic Church, in Wrightstown. They raised three children in Darboy: Maria, Dan, and Katie. Later, she was employed by Appleton Cardiology. Donna humbly shared her gifts with others. A homemaker extraordinaire, her grasshopper torte was always a crowd pleaser. With a knack for art and design, she sewed lovely clothes, wallpapered, and reupholstered furniture. Her green thumb produced vegetables to can and perennials to share or to make into beautiful arrangements for church. Donna also played piano at home, so there were many sing alongs, especially at Christmas. Praying to St. Anthony worked well for Donna, and if you lost something, she would pray to him for you too! She cheered for her grandchildren in all activities and prayed devotedly for her family and friends. Donna was young at heart and had endless energy. If there was something silly going on, she jumped in. Donna enjoyed playing cards, swimming, canoeing, dancing, and cross-country skiing. Sitting down was for watching Wisconsin sports teams or a favorite game show. Traveling especially gave her great joy. Donna did extensive research and had everything mapped out so those lucky enough to go along were guaranteed a seamless, memorable adventure. Her trip to heaven is a celebration of a full, well-lived life. We are blessed to have so many wonderful memories of Donna and can still feel her love and support from above. Donna is survived by her children: Maria (Jim) Schreiber, Dan (Dianne) Pritzl, and Katie Pritzl; ten grandchildren: Eric (Jenny) Schreiber, Alyssa (Tommy) Fassbender, Brad (Aleigha) Schreiber, Mitch (Hannah) Schreiber, Scott Schreiber, Betsy (Eliot) Lee, Jacqueline Corey, Nate (Shanna) Pritzl, Rachel Roth (Peter Mattio) and Anna Roth. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Donna is further survived by her siblings: Rev. Marlyn John Wymelenberg, Bernice Geurts, Dick (Bonnie) Vanden Wymelenberg, Carl (Marcia) Vanden Wymelenberg, and Charlene (Sy) Giesen; Vic’s sister Marie Jezerc and sisters-in-law: Joan and Dolly Pritzl. Donna is preceded in death by her loving husband Victor, her parents, sister-in-law Marilyn (Weyers) Vanden Wymelenberg and brother-in-law Florent Geurts; Raymond (Ardina) Pritzl, Julius (Isabel) Pritzl, Robert (Bernice) Pritzl, Sr. Lucille Pritzl, O.S.F., Richard (Rita) Pritzl, George Pritzl, Eldora (Bill) Jimenez, Ron Jezerc, Bernice (Merl) Meiers, LaVern (Don) Monyette, and Harry Pritzl.
