Donna Elizabeth Kranzusch

Donna Elizabeth Kranzusch, 72, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Dec 7 2021 at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Appleton.  She was born on June 2, 1949 in Oshkosh Wisconsin to Donald and Jacqueline (Leiby) Kieper.  Donna retired as a longtime USPS letter carrier, working as a rural carrier to start and then a walking her route in Neenah.  She loved building relationships for the households she served as evidenced by her wall full of Christmas cards and many baked goods she received every year.

Donna was a devoted and loving wife to her late husband Frank, mother to Michael (Georgiana) Beyer and Michelle (Paul) Charapata, step-mother to Gena (Curt) Kranzusch, and Jodi (John) Kenny, sister to Dan (Karen) Kieper and Gary Kieper, and niece/goddaughter to Jim and Faye (Leiby) Potratz.   A loving grandmother to Zachary and Brianna Beyer, Aidan, Finley and Teegan Charapata,  Nicole Pamperin, Grace (Noah) O’Bre, and many nieces and nephews, Donna always took time to be present in their lives.

She was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Jacqueline (Leiby) Kieper and husband Frank.

Donna loved spending time with and supporting her family and friends.  She loved gardening, traveling, scrapbooking, crafting, cooking, and more than anything serving others.   Her two dogs, Amber and Charlie, were always by her side.  She spent her time in retirement supporting her church and local organizations in need.  Donna will be remembered for how deeply she loves her family, friends, and God along with her witty sense of humor accompanied by her constant smile.

Friends may join a visitation on Wednesday Dec 15, 2021 from 3 – 6 pm and Thursday Dec 16, 2021 from 10 – 11 am at Wichman Funeral Home on 537 N. Superior Street in Appleton.   Funeral services will be held at Thursday Dec 16, 2021 at 11 am following the visitation.
