POMEDAY, DONALD O.
Donald O. Pomeday, resident of the Grand Horizon Home of Appleton, entered into Eternal Life on Monday, August 13, 2007. Donald was born on March 5, 1914, in Racine to the late Henry and Lorenza (Chieriezze) Polimadei. He was united in marriage to Henrietta Rosalie Radewitz on November, 24, 1937. Donald was the consummate Tool and Die Salesman with a passion of working with people. He worked until he was 80 years of age. Donald was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Appleton, where God and Family were of utmost importance to him. He was a loving husband to his surviving wife, Henrietta, whom he spent 69 loving and devoted years with. He was also a Loving and Devoted father to his three children. His daughter Marcia Mae and his son Donald (Carol) Pomeday preceded him in death. Donald is survived by his daughter, Lori (Darrell) Redmond. He was the proud grandfather of Nathan (Heidi) Pomeday, Melissa (Matthew) Littleton, Matthew (Heidi) Redmond and Scott (Kimberley) Redmond. He was the great-grandfather of Alex and Hayden Littleton, and Autumn and Parker Redmond. Donald was a compassionate mentor to his family. He loved spending time with his family. Music and dancing were his passion. Donald is further survived by his sister, Eva Tennyck (John Oberg). He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul (Ruth) Palmer, Robert (AnnaMarie) Pomeday, sisters and brothers-in-laws, Helen (Peter) Matranga, Leone (Ralph) Pinches, and Corrine (Anthony) Levato and Rose (Ervin) Bartel. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 17, 2007, at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 312 South State Street, Appleton, with Fr. Michael K. O’Rourke officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Lake Church, Wisconsin. A memorial has been established in his name. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Grand Horizon Home for their loving care.
