Age 72, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday August 21, 2007. He was born on March 22, 1935 in Kaukauna, son of the late Elbert Parker and Mildred Verhagen Powell. Don married Elaine Sievert on November 16, 1957, and she survives him. He worked for Appleton Paper Locks Mills until his retirement. In addition to his wife Elaine, Don is survived by his sons; Brett (Linda) Parker, Appleton, and Gregg (Rebecca) Parker of New London; his grandchildren, Sara, Eric, Heather and Holly Parker, and many other relatives and friends. Private family services were held. A memorial is being established.
