Passed away peacefully at the Gardens of Fountain Way on December 13th at the age of 96 (although she thought she was 98). Dolores was born on September 8, 1922 to Nell (Ulmen) and Louis Lippert in Appleton, Wisconsin. Dolores worked for Kimberly Clark for most of her adult life, retiring in 1985.
Dolores enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, playing bridge, golfing, and an occasional trip to the casino. She was a life long member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Appleton.
Dolores is survived by her brother Jerry (Nancy); nieces Mary Garcia, Sheelah Lippert and Nancy (Iggy) Smetek; great nieces Krista (Brian) Rebman, Kayla Garcia, great nephew Eric (Ana) Garcia, Sam Smetek, and Dan (Amber) Smetek; great great nephews Bryce, Keegan and Landon Rebman and great great nieces Brooke Drechsel and Vanessa and Yvette Garcia. Her family meant the world to her and she always made birthdays and holidays special.
Dolores is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Harold (the late Hildegarde) and Cyril (the late Virginia).
Funeral liturgy will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 222 E. Fremont Street, on Wednesday December 19, 2018 at 1:30 PM. Visitation will be held at the church from 12:30 PM until time of service. Private entombment at Highland Memorial Park.
The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice for the great care they gave Dolores and to the caregivers at the Gardens of Fountain Way, especially Dani and Kayla for their compassionate care.
