Age 49, formerly of Elgin, Illinois, passed away on Friday morning in Oshkosh. He was born on April 5, 1952 in Elgin, Illinois the son of Zeke and Elinor (Schmidt) Manic. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 1974 where he played football with the University of Wisconsin Badgers. He married Pamela Eskey in Elgin, Illinois during his senior year at college. He was employed by Rogers Benefit Group for 20 years.

He was a loving husband, father, and son and will be sadly missed by his wife Pamela of Appleton, his son and daughter Tyler and Blair who are enrolled at the University of Arizona in Tucson; his parents, his father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Jodi Eskey of Tucson, Arizona; his brothers-in-law Richard C. Eskey of Hinsdale, Illinois, and W. Tobias Eskey of Tucson, Arizona, and many loving friends.

Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, October 24, 2001 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 South State Street with the Rev. Robert Lexa officiating. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established.

Dennis’ family wishes to express their sincere thanks to all of Dennis’ loving and caring employees. A special thanks to Steven Cloud for all of the time and support he gave to Dennis.
