Dennis is off on his Harley looking for Candy Rock Mountain today as he quietly and peacefully was welcomed into God's hands this morning, Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at home after a short battle with cancer.

Dennis, Age 60, was the second of seven children born to Gerald and Joan Jansen of Menasha. He is survived by his wife, Tina (Eisch) Jansen; mother Joan Jansen, Appleton; daughter Julie Jansen (David Miller), Appleton; son David Jansen (Robert Taylor), San Diego; step daughter Megan Eisch, Madison; sisters Mary Jansen (Oshkosh), Karen (Dick) Rademaker, Pickerel; Brother Tom (Shelley) Jansen, Franklin; sister Diane Jansen, Neenah, and brother Greg (Tammy) Jansen, Hortonville.

He is further survived by his in-laws Louis and Dolores Eisch, Appleton; sisters-in-law Mara Schweitzer, Madison; Erin Hugus, Wausau; Mimi (Chris) Howard, Allouez; Candace (Brad) Groebner, Greenville and brothers-in-law Eric Eisch, Wausau; Duke Eisch, Appleton and Joel (Kathleen) Eisch, Oshkosh.

Dennis was preceded in death by his father Gerald, his brother Steve and brother-in-law Leon Schweitzer.

Dennis had a passion for his career as a new commercial and residential building inspector, discovering many of the small towns and villages in
Wisconsin always with an eye out for a new diner or café full of character and ambience.

Dennis has chosen not to be shown but friends and family who wish to bring a picture to donate to the collage may bring it to the funeral home on Friday, June 20, 2008 from 4 until 6 P.M. Military Honors will be performed at 6:00 P.M. SHARP.
