Denise Hazel Champeau, 50, of Neenah, Wisconsin passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, October 13, 2021 after living through the various stages of COPD. Her final days were rich with love, memories, tears, and moments of laughter. Denise was a proud member of the Potawatomi Tribe.
Denise was born in Pacoima, California. She studied Business Marketing at UW Oshkosh Fox Valley and later co-owned and operated Star Party Karaoke.
Family was extremely important to her especially her children and grandchildren, she loved being a grandma. She enjoyed watching movies, doing crafts, scrapbooking, singing and was an avid Rick Springfield fan and attended concerts whenever she could.
Denise is survived by her children; James Lorenz, Jeb Lorenz, Rickey (Kristin Blank) Smith and Teri Rae Smith; her granddaughters Keegan Jace and Loraine; her siblings Angela Reynolds, Richard Jr. and Michael Champeau; her nieces Ashley Reynolds, Mariah Sagataw, and Xena Champeau. Denise was preceded in death by her parents Sandra Dunphy (LaMourie) and Richard Champeau; and brother Gary Champeau and great niece Mae.
The memorial service for Denise will be held on Monday October 25th at Wichmann Funeral Homes Tri-County Chapel, 1592 Oneida Street, Menasha, at 12 Noon. Visitation at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
