Age 72 died on Thursday, June 28, 2001 after a short illness at Appleton Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born on November 11, 1928 in Kaukauna the daughter of the late George and Mayme (Weyenberg) DeCoster. Delores was a resident of Kaukauna all of her life. She had been employed by Kaukauna Klub Cheese, Wisconsin Gas Company and a custodial engineer in many homes. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and AARP. Delores was a stong believer in organ donation and it was her request that her organs be donated. She is survived by a brother: Carl DeCoster, Kaukauna; 5 nieces: Kay VanDera, Freedom; Mary (Paul) Verbeten, Freedom; June (Doug) Belunes, Kaukauna; Karen (Alan) Frederickson, Darboy; and Debbie DeCoster, Kaukauna; 3 nephews: Don (Colleen) DeCoster, Townsend; Tom DeCoster, Kaukauna and Bob (Ellen) DeCoster, Kaukauna; great nieces and nephews: Carl and Craig VanDera; Kristin Verbeten; Brian, Kevin and Scotty Belunes; Marc, Dylan and Kaylee Frederickson; Danny “DJ” DeCoster; Shelley Meyerhofer, Jodi Gardner and Ross DeCoster; and Marisa Schartner. She was preceded in death by a brother and 2 sisters-in-law: Robert P. and Betty DeCoster and Nadine DeCoster and a niece Diane DeCoster. The funeral liturgy will be held at 5:00 p.m. Monday, July 2 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna with Fr. Jim Lucas officiating. Friends may call at the church from 3:00 p.m. on Monday until the time of service. Inurnment will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery. A memorial fund is being established in her name.
