Delores A. Brandt, “Tootie” to everyone who knew her, passed away at on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Matthews Senior Living in Neenah, at the age of 76. Tootie was born on September 3, 1937, to the late Minion and Mabel (Drossart) Grubaugh . She married Donald L. Brandt on June 24, 1968, and found the love of her life. They shared 45 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on September 28, 2013. Tootie worked at Zwicker's and Appleton Extended Care. Her many hobbies included sewing, crocheting, gardening and camping at the Circle J. Campgrounds.
Tootie will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She is survived by her son, Mark (Cathy) Kappell, Suamico; her daughter, Kathy Kappell, (special friend, Ron), Oneida; her daughter, Elaine (Mike) Schink, Menasha; Kim (Don) Grant, Appleton; and her son, Matthew (Cindy) Brandt, Neshkoro; her grandchildren, Shannon, Faith, Chris, Christina, Tracy, Jessica, D.J., Andy, Joe, Melissa and John; and her twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Don and twin daughters.
Funeral services will at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME—TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL, 1592 Oneida Street, Menasha, with Chaplain Ron Urmanski officiating. Friends may call directly at the Tri-County Chapel on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
