Krueger, Delore E.
Delore E. Krueger, age 84, went home to meet his Lord on Tuesday morning, March 7, 2006.
He was born May 8, 1921, in Bonduel, the son of the late Edward C. and Irene M. (Knope) Krueger. He married Mae Geider on September 13, 1942. She survives. Delore was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army from 1942 until 1945. The Kruegers moved to Appleton in 1966.
Prior to his retirement, Delore was an auto mechanic in Shawano and was employed with the Wisconsin State Patrol as a vehicle inspector. After his retirement, Delore worked for Kobussen Bus as a mechanic and bus driver.
Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Mae E. Krueger; his daughter, Linda Mae (Benjamin) Pelot; two grandsons, Brian (Jennifer) Pelot and Joseph (Nicole) Pelot; two great grandchildren, Tyler Joseph Pelot and Grace Katherine Pelot; and a brother, Myron (Beverly) Krueger. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Kenneth Delore Krueger, a sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and George Gretzinger, and a brother and sister-in-law, Delmer and Elmira Krueger.
Funeral services for Delore will be at 11:00 am, Friday, March 10, 2006, at OUR SAVIOUR’S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3009 North Meade Street, with Rev. Dennis Ellisen officiating. Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Shawano, at 2:30 pm, Friday. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home, and again on Friday at the church from 10:00 am, until the time of service.
