Age 64, was taken to God’s Eternal Home on Thursday, May 3, 2001, following a brief battle with cancer. Dean was born in Baraboo, WI on April 16, 1937, son of the late Melvin and Madeline (Doro) Clark. On October 5, 1957, Dean married Elaine Schulenburg, and they have enjoyed 43 years of marriage. He loved sports, and was an avid Badger fan. Dean enjoyed walks on the beach while vacationing in Florida. He also enjoyed yard work; especially landscaping. Dean will be greatly missed by his wife Elaine; his two daughters, Terri (Dan) Buboltz, and their children Megan and Melisa, Clintonville; Cheri (Chris) Frank, and their children Matthew and Joshua, Darboy; his son, Thomas (Kelly) Clark, Darboy; two sisters, Lin (Don) Costerisan, Reedsburg; Sandy Link, Wisconsin Dells; a brother, William (Nancy) Clark, Nebraska; and two brothers-in-law, Wayne (Joann) Schulenburg, Beloit; Richard (Dianne) Schulenburg, Reedsburg. He is further survived by 10 nieces and nephews, an uncle, other family members and friends. Dean was preceded in death by his brother Daniel. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Monday, May 7, 2001 at BETHANY EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 530 West Parkway Boulevard, Appleton, with Rev. Craig Weber officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Monday, May 7 from 11 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
