Age 44, passed away Friday, April 20, 2007, at Brewster Village.
Rusty was born July 10, 1962, in Bloomington, Ill., the son of David R. (Ruth) Sturm, The Villages, Fla., and Judith “Judy” (Elliot) and Robert Fox, Humble, Texas.
Rusty received his GED from the Fox Valley Technical College, and he was very proud of this accomplishment. He was employed at Valley Packaging and Goodwill here in the valley, and other various businesses throughout his life.
Rusty was an extensive collector; from beer cans to sci-fi themes, such as Star Trek, Star Wars, he enjoyed collecting items from these different series.
Survivors include his mother and father, and three sisters, Cathy (Mark) Gonzalez, and their son, Matthew, Humble, Texas; Angela Sturm, Spring, Texas; and Mary Pratt, and her daughter, Madisson, Humble, Texas. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
The funeral celebration for Rusty will be at 11:00 a.m. TODAY at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, downtown chapel, with Rev. John McFadden officiating. Burial will be in the Little Wolf Cemetery, Manawa. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. this morning until the time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions in Rusty’s name to be sent to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 2670 South Ashland Ave., Green, Bay, WI, 54304, or the charity of your choice.
