David James McCormick

David James McCormick, 67, of Menasha, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at his home on November 27, 2023. 

Dave was born in Illinois on February 4, 1956, to James and Carol McCormick. 

He started his career at Kimberly Clark Aviation, and continued on there when it became Gulf Stream, for 39 years before retiring.  

He and his wife Joan always loved going to the casino together, earning their points and reaping those benefits.  

When Angie was growing up, they always took a family vacation for a week or so up north for fishing. He always enjoyed hunting and fishing, which he was able to do on his own land and often with his grandson, David. He and David worked together to restore a vintage McCormick tractor and those memories will always be cherished.  

Dave is survived by his daughter Angela (James) Tischendorf; his mother Carol McCormick; grandson David McCormick; sisters Karen (Ralph) Morris, Mary McCormick; brothers Dan (Sandy) McCormick, Phil (Julie) McCormick, Frank (Michele) McCormick, sisters-in-law Paulette Wagner, Marlene McCormick; and many other nieces, nephews and in laws. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Joan, father James, brothers Dale Wagner and Michael McCormick.  

A visitation for Dave will be held at Wichmann Fargo Funeral Home (400 W. Wisconsin Ave., Kaukauna, WI) on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm.
