Age 63, died on Dec.22nd after a terminal illness. He was born in Clintonville, WI on Nov. 13th, 1939, son of the late Howard and Leola Waite. He was also a lifetime member of the Appleton Yacht Club and Port St. Lucie Elks Lodge. He attended Hope Lutheran Church in Port St. Lucie FL. He loved boating, deep sea fishing near his Florida home and spending time with friends and family. He also had a love for photography which gave us the gift of lasting memories. Those who were close to him will always remember him as having a love for people. He was always there to help someone out in need, whether it be building a Church in Mexico, sponsoring children of Haiti; Enel Larame and Mario Orostre, or just helping a friend. He was a man with a kind heart, a loving husband, father, and grandpa. He lived his dream of an early retirement and then moving to Florida where he and his wife Donna, who was his true love, could enjoy the rest of their lives together. Although this time was short, it will always be treasured.

''Dad''
Although we had time to say goodbye, goodbye was not an easy thing to say. We never forget our last goodbyes as each one of us held you so tight, it was hard to let you go. Hearing the words ''I love you'' will forever be tucked in our hearts. You have been a loving father always guiding the way. You are now our guardian angel, and forever you will stay, You said our hearts will heal some way, and the comforting words, ''don’t be afraid'' I’m going to a better place where we will meet again someday.
Each and everyone who was touched by David's love and friendship will truly miss him.
