David Henry Fritz passed away after a brief battle with leukemia on April 14, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. David was born on November 22, 1960, to Mary (Noonan) and Ralph Fritz. He married the love of his life Amy (Carnot) on November 5, 2011.
They shared 30 years with their children, Nicholas Cazzola and Christina Cazzola (Shuma) Kuwamoto, and grandchildren, his favorite people in the world, Noah, and Kaya Kuwamoto. David loved his little paradise up north and traveling. He was in his happy place with a fishing pole in his hand or near any body of water, whether it was the stream, lake, or ocean, he had a smile on his face. He enjoyed his golf league and outings, and owns several Noonan Open Championships and is currently the defending champ.
For the past 25 years, he was a dedicated employee of Amusement Devices Inc. where friends became family. Dave loved spending time with his family and friends delivering candid one-liners. He had a nickname for everyone he adored, and many also knew him as Fritzy, Cat, along with a few other names.
He is survived by his brother Stephen Fritz, and his children Stephanie (Ryan) Moore, Michelle (Timothy) Fritz, and Brooke (Craig) Torrance; Daniel (Dawn) Fritz, and their children Cory Fritz, Deanna Van Thiel, Amanda Peterson, Marjorie Peterson, and Natalie Peterson; and his sister Susan (Joe) Zwiers, and their children Chad (Becky) Rausch, Madeline Zwiers, and Quentin Zwiers; and stepbrother Michael Wulterkens.
Amy’s family includes Donna (Tom) Fink, and goddaughter Katie (Tracy) Fink; Linda (Roy) Betters and their children Rebecca Nettekoven and Ryan (Kelli) Betters; Terri (Joe) Hammen, and their children Brenda (Josh) Larson and Bridgette Hammen; and Jay Carnot. Dave is further survived by his stepfather Raymond Harvey and his family, plus, many close friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Bertha and Clifford Fritz, Ralph and Ferna Noonan, stepbrother Steve Wulterkens, step-father Tom Wulterkens; in-laws Dorothy and David Carnot, and brother-in-law Thomas Carnot, along with many other relatives and friends.

David McElroy, O. Praem. officiating. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church on Wednesday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
