Dave Preimesberger passed away on February 16, 2025.
Simply put Dave was a gentle giant, for the most part he was quiet. But don't let his shyness fool you. Once he knows you, he talks your ear off but he'll use choice words that penetrate all the way to your bones.
He was a burger and fry kind of guy. Don't forget the Ketchup, Kapitch as he would say, some Heinz 57, just dump it on before you even taste the steak!
Then there was the Navy Dave. Salute the man who sailed the Asian seas keeping the peace. Who would of thought he'd grow to marry an Army girl. With the two of them keep an eye on your BB guns!
He is survived by his brothers, Mark and Tom Preimesberger; his partner, Debra Du Beau; and his nephews, Mathew and Scott. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marian Preimesberger; his sisters, Anne and Ellen; and his sister-in-law, Ellen Wolf-Preimesberg.
Dave graduated from Appleton East High School with the Class of 1975. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy before working various jobs until his retirement. In his free time, he enjoyed painting, writing poetry, watching old westerns, and taking road trips with Debra, often stopping to eat at The Bear.
A private celebration of life will be held for close family and friends.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him.
