Darien J. Wiggins
Chicago formerly of Appleton
Age 36, passed away on Sunday February 10, 2008. Darien was born on March 16, 1971 in Appleton, son of Russell and Melody (Scheid) Wiggins. He graduated from Appleton East High School with the Class of 1989. Darien was a Veteran of Operation Desert Storm. He was a MLRS Operator with the 82nd Airborne attached to the 101st Airborne. After serving his country Darien went to college and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Stout University. He was presently working for Wilson Athletics, a job he absolutely loved! He enjoyed fishing, snowboarding, cooking and music. Darien was a very generous and giving person who made many lasting friendships throughout the country and wherever he went. He is survived by his father, Russell (Coleen) Wiggins, Kaukauna; his mother, Melody (Guy) Snyder, Shawano; his brothers; Jason, Brian (Molly) Wiggins, and their son Mason who was Darien's pride and joy. Darien is also survived by his grandparents; Ronald and Frena Scheid; a step sister, Michelle Wommack, and step-nephews, Brock and Luke Wommack; aunts and uncles; Dan (Sheila) Wiggins, Patricia (Bill) Robinson, Michael (Kim) Scheid, Rhonda Schadler, Tim (Sherry) Scheid, Terri (Bob) Brouillard; step aunts and uncles, Patty (Gary) Biebel, Robert (Mary) Snyder, Patty Mikula, Dan (Karla) Rajek, Gary (Linda) Rajek, and Maxine Keppler. Darien is also survived by many cousins, and his network of many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eileen Scheid, Sally (Bill) Bradow, Lee Wiggins, a step-grandmother, Mary Snyder; his aunt, Patricia Torbeck, and his uncle, Kenny Schadler. A celebration of Darien's life will be held at 4 p.m on Saturday February 16, 2008 at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St., Appleton.
