Darhl J. Brown
Darhl Brown, age 77 of Neenah, passed away on April 10, 2025, at Theda Care Medical Center in Neenah. Darhl was born April 1, 1948, in Neenah, the daughter of the late Eddie and Bernice (Begrow) Pockat. She was a graduate of Fox Valley Lutheran High School and attended Fox Valley Technical Institute.
She was employed for 23 years as a credit coordinator OHMEDA in Madison and later worked nine years at Jansport. She loved birds, watching waves, the sounds of nature, and Dan and Donna’s dog “Munchkin.” Darhl enjoyed Goodwill shopping with Donna as well as reliving her various trips to Europe. Her parents instilled the love of family in her – she loved having all her family visit and spend time. She even maintained friendships from her high school years.
Darhl is survived by a sister: Laurie (Gary) Riha and by brother Dan (Donna) Pockat; two stepdaughters: Juanita (Jeremy) Kranz and Janice Bedner. Her grandchildren are Ashley, Lyndsay, Samantha, Travis, and Ethan. There is also a nephew: Billy Joe (Kathie) Fehrman, and two nieces Dr. Shannon (Dr. Joe) Mondloch and Saundra Riha (Joe Nied). There are also many great-nieces and great-nephews, and her dear friend Tootie.
Though Bernice came from a large family, Darhl is still survived by aunts and uncles: Jean Neubauer and Gladys Begrow.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister LaVonne (Bill) Fehrman, many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
A Christian Memorial Service for Darhl will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 26, at Martin Luther Lutheran Church, located at 436 South Lake Street with Rev. Tyler Schinnick and Rev. Martin Loescher officiating. Visitation will take place directly at the church on April 26th from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.
