Daniel R. Justinger, age 54, of Appleton, died unexpectedly at his home, Wednesday evening, August 1, 2007. He was born March 21, 1953, to Dudley R. and Virginia A. (Nelson) Justinger, on Washington Island and had been an Appleton resident for the past 30 years. Dan enjoyed playing his guitar and music. He is survived by his mother, Virginia A. (Nelson) Pinney, Kaukauna; five siblings, John M. Justinger, Appleton; Jim W. Justinger. Florida; Tom L. Justinger, Appleton; Rita L. Justinger, Appleton; Janet A. (Donald) Mader, Conover, WI; nieces and nephews, Jason (Geri) Justinger, Jennifer Leitner, Jesse L. Justinger, Justin Leitner, Lee Schmidt, Jarrod Justinger, Sara Schmidt and Amanda Schmidt; four great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Dudley R. Justinger, his stepfather, James C. Pinney and an infant brother, Jerry. Funeral services for Daniel will be held at 5:00 pm. Monday, August 6, 2007, at the funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 3:00 pm until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established.
