Dan’s family would like to express their gratitude to his very special neighbors: Kurt and Jackie, Greg and Wendy, Luke and Ali, Quentin and Kelly, all of whom were wonderful neighbors and gave generously of their time to help him. We would also like to thank the staff of Theda Care Appleton Medical Center especially the Intensive Care staff, Theda Care Hospice staff and the staff at Rennes for all their care and support.
‘God saw he was getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around Dan, and whispered, “Come with me.” With tearful eyes we watched him suffer and saw him fade away. Although we loved him dearly, we could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the Best.’
A private family service and burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. To express condolences, visit www.wichmannfuneralhomes.com. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans 860 Dolwick Dr., Erlanger, KY 41018. 877-426-2838 http://cst.dav.org/
