Dani Schuh, age 33, passed away at home in Madison on April 5, 2024. Dani was born on July 27, 1990, to Paul and Julie (Salzer) Schuh. Growing up in Little Chute with siblings Tim and Jenny as a youth, Dani attended Little Chute High and proceeded to attend both UW Fox Valley and UW Oshkosh before settling on the UW Green Bay earning a degree in Psychology with a minor in math.
Dani enjoyed all manner of outdoor activities like camping in Door County, roller blading and cooking out with friends. Indoor activities were also a passion and Dani enjoyed playing pool, playing cards with Grandma and playing cribbage. Dani especially loved taking road trips and the adventure on Route 66 was a highlight! A natural collector, Dani loved to collect coins and shot glasses.
Family and friends were paramount with Dani. Friends and time spent with them brought life to Dani’s heart. Time spent at the cottage in Winneconne, and all manner of watersports including waterskiing, boating, fishing, and even finding turtles with cousins were a joy! The campfires at the cottage provided laughter for all.
Dani’s favorite job was as a mail carrier and there were always biscuits to be found in pockets for the pooches along the route! Dani loved the walking portion of that route and the special friends made.
Dani is survived by parents Paul and Julie, siblings: Jenny (John) Janssen, Tim (Jaimie) Schuh; nieces and nephews: Brandon, Greyson, Alivia, Oliver, Madelyn, Braden; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and other family. Dani is further survived by special “Grandma” Rose and special friends Kate Harris, Stephen Behnke and Jen Behnke as well as the full circle of friends who were so loved.
Dani was preceded in death by grandparents: Kenneth and Johanna “Annie” Schuh, and Robert and Nancy Salzer.
A funeral liturgy for Dani will take place on Friday April 19, 2024, at 12:00pm at St John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 411 Vandenbroek, Little Chute. Friends and family may gather at the church from 10:00am until mass begins.
