Age 57, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2006 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center. She was born on September 18, 1948 in Sturgeon Bay to Phyllis (Lagerquist), and the late Lester Larson. Cindy was a 1970 graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh with a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education. On June 9, 1973 she was united in marriage to James Svetlauskas in Sister Bay. She was currently a Kindergarten teacher at Franklin Elementary School. She was an avid sports fan who especially liked the Packers, the Badgers, the Brewers and the Cubs.

She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Jim, her children: Lydia (Chris) Jones, Depere; Nick Svetlauskas, Appleton; her granddaughter, Jaiden Jones, her sisters: Beverly (Ron) Hubbard, Green Bay; Mary Beth (Roger) Ohnesorge, Fish Creek; Lynnea (Dennis) Hickey, Bailey’s Harbor, Wendy Hanson (Special friend, Mike), Allouez; brother-in-law, Richard Svetlauskas, Birmingham, Michigan; sister-in-law, Margaret Svetlauskas, Appleton, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Sharon Larson, Dianne Larson, and Sally Peterson.

Funeral services for Cynthia will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at First Congregational United Church of Christ (724 East South River Street), with Reverend John T. McFadden officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 4 until 8 P.M. and again on Wednesday from 1 P.M. until the time of the service directly at church.
