Curtis J. DeBruin

Age 28, passed away unexpectedly at work on Wednesday, December 18, 2002. Curt was born in Appleton on December 16, 1974, the son of Ken and Pat (Felton) DeBruin of Combined Locks. Curt was a 1992 graduate of the Kimberly High School and for a short time worked as a carpenter. Later, he became interested in electrical work. He trained to become a journeyman electrician, and was currently employed by Enterprise Electric. Curt was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed attending the home games. He also loved music, had an extensive record collection, and enjoyed playing the drums. Most of his time was spent improving his recently purchased home in Kimberly.

Curt is survived by his parents: Ken and Pat DeBruin of Combined Locks; his paternal grandparents: Urban and Rita DeBruin of Kimberly; a brother: Greg (Mollie) DeBruin of Appleton; his special friend: Melanie Marasch and her son Bailey of Combined Locks; his good friend and roommate: Greg Plass of Kimberly; as well as by several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and many friends and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Jerrold and Sybil Felton, an uncle George Felton, an aunt Jean Ruebekeil, and a cousin Robbin Roberts.

The funeral liturgy for Curt will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, December 21, 2002 at ST. PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 E. Wallace Street in Combined Locks with Fr. Robert Vandenberg officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Saturday from 9 AM until the hour of the liturgy.
