Formerly of Zion Mutual Home, age 90, died Thursday evening, February 15, 2001. She was born July 9, 1910, to the late Odin and Cora (Esbrook) Olson, in Wausaukee, WI. On October 8, 1937, she married Louis H. Horn, in Crown Point, IN, they celebrated their Golden Anniversary in 1987. Mr. Horn preceded her in death on June 16, 1990. Cora was a homemaker and enjoyed her crafts, playing cards, reading, baking and visits with family and friends. Mrs. Horn was one of the oldest members of Memorial Presbyterian Church. Those who loved her will miss her presence in special ways. Family members include her son and daughter-in-law, Louis and Joanne Horn, Shawano; a daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Paul Hansen, Beloit; four grandchildren, Jeff Horn, Phoenix, AZ; Jim (Lynn) Horn, Las Vegas, NV; Tim (Kris) Horn, Appleton; Becky (Paul) Batley, Neenah; three great grandchildren, Devin Horn, Brittany Horn and Madeline Batley. She was preceded in death by six sisters and three brothers. Funeral Services for Mrs. Horn will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, February 19, 2001, at MEMORIAL PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 803 East College Avenue, with Reverend Mara Liz Rivera officiating. Burial will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church from 9:30 am Monday, until the time of the service.
