Constance A. Brummond

Connie Brummond, age 88, passed away at her home early on Sunday morning, May 23, 2021, surrounded by her four children.  Connie was born in Fond du Lac on December 13, 1932, daughter of the late Frank and Elenor (Kraus) Eggers.   She attended schools in Fond du Lac, and on May 25, 1957 married “the love of her life”, Walter Brummond.

Since 1965, Connie had been an active member of Sacred Heart Parish in Sherwood.  She also loved gardening, cooking, and baking, especially Christmas cookies.  She was also an avid reader, and enjoyed history and politics.

Connie is survived by four children: Mary (Dr. Perry) Menos, William (Judy) Brummond, Catherine Beach, and Michael (Mary Beth) Brummond.  There are fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and three more great-grandchildren expected soon.  Other survivors include a sister: Donna Marquardt and a sister-in-law: Carol Kremer.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, eleven siblings and their spouses, and  a son-in-law Kevin Beach.

The funeral liturgy for Connie will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sherwood, with Fr. Michael Betley and Fr. Joel Sember officiating.

officiating.  Inurnment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.
