Age 55, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 27, 2003, following a short illness. Connie was born in Appleton on August 13, 1947, the daughter of Edward and Bernice (Yandre) Ulrich. She married Ronald Plamann on June 15, 1968, and they have enjoyed over 34 years of marriage together. Connie loved softball, fishing and spending time at the family cottage. She is survived by her husband Ron; her father, Edward; her step-mother, Margaret Ulrich; 3 daughters, Ronda (Tom) Miller; Pattie (Scott) Witthuhn; Erin (Timothy) Teske; 4 grandchildren, Zachary and Matthew Miller; Taylor and Colby Witthuhn; her brother, James (Bonnie) Ulrich; and sister-in-law, Nancy (James) Bethe. Connie is further survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bernice Ulrich; and father and mother-in-law, Melvin and Virginia Plamann. The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, January 30, 2003 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Ronald Szep officiating. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, January 30 from 4 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Connie’s name.
