Age 70, passed away at home on Friday, March 4, 2005. She was born in Chicago on December 30, 1934, daughter of the late Thomas and Dorothy (Gondolf) Mannix. Colleen was a self- employed as the owner of A-1 Tax and Bookkeeping for 25 years. She loved to collect porcelain dolls and also loved her pet bird, Cuddles.

Colleen is survived by her children: Pat Gonzales and Joe Varick of Neenah, Mike (Jutta) Mannix of El Paso, Larry Korer of Chicago, Jerry Grzanka of Chicago, Charles Schroeder of Neenah and Dorothy Schroeder of Minnesota; grandchildren: Jenny (Brian), Bridget, Sean (Jenny), Trisha-Ann, the Texas Seven, Dylan, Alexis, Emily and Savannah; great grandchildren: Dominic, Kailida, Seth, and ?; and sisters: Ellen and Irene. She is further survived by many other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Fred; and her “Papa.”

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 10, 2005 at ST. PATRICK CATHOLIC CHURCH, 324 Nicolet Boulevard in Menasha with Fr. Roy Geenen officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the hour of the liturgy.

The family extends a special thank you to Colleen’s special helpers: Amiee, Mike, Judy, Michelle, Bev, and a special landlord, for all their help and support. Further, a very special thank you to her tax and accounting clients for their business and friendship.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Colleen’s name is being established.
