Clifford “Cliff” Harvey Holschuh, passed away peacefully on Christmas day surrounded by his greatest gift, his family, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Cliff was born on December 10, 1946, son of the late Harvey and Mildred Holschuh. In high school, Cliff met his high school sweetheart and soon to be wife Laurette Lyon. They celebrated 55 years of marriage before Cliffs passing.
Cliff worked at Williams Well Drilling and Wolfenger Water before owning his own business, C.C. Water with Curt Plate until his retirement.
Cliff enjoyed nature and the simple things in life: watching the birds in his feeders, crossword puzzles, or picking hickory nuts. He also loved smoking chubs and picking asparagus (his favorite!). Above all, he loved spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
Cliff will be remembered by his loving wife: Laurette Holschuh; son: Adam Holschuh; daughter: Amy (Brad) Wogikoski; and his loving grandchildren: Carson and Kaden; sisters: Katie (Joe) Sprangers and Mary (Gene) Van Zeeland; brothers: Dan Holschuh, Larry (Nancy) Holschuh, and Dean Holschuh; Cliff is further survived by his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Cliff was preceded in death by his best fur friend Bud.
A celebration for Cliff will be held in the Spring.
Cliff’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Elizabeth, especially Dr. Achanti and nurse Katie.
To my husband and best friend, You will be in my heart forever. Rest in Peace. Love, Laurette
