KREMPIN, KLARA KAISLER (Clara)
Met our Lord and entered into her Eternal Life from Woodside Lutheran Home, Green Bay, Wisconsin, on Wednesday afternoon, May 30, 2001. She will be laid to rest in her native land, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, on June 6, 2001, in the Brookside Cemetery. Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 3rd in her home church, First English Lutheran Church, 326 E. North Street, Appleton, Wisconsin 54911. Eucharist will be celebrated with the Rev. J. Christian Quello and the Rev. Willis Bloedow presiding, assisted by the Rev. Stanley R. Lillich, the Rev. N. Ralph Huget and the Rev. Dr. J. Philip Wahl. Friends may call on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
Clara Krempin, daughter of George and Katherine Kaisler, was born May 24, 1903 in Leola, South Dakota. When she was 8 years old she emigrated, with her family, to Alberta, Canada, where she grew up riding horses and developing her irrepressible spirit. She married the Reverend Arthur Krempin in Woodley, Saskatchewan, Canada, on October 6, 1926 and laid him to rest in Brookside Cemetery, Winnipeg, when she became his widow on December 25, 1939. She returned to the United States in 1958, first to Milwaukee and then to Appleton, Wisconsin, to share her life and love with her children and American born grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, George and Katherine, her beloved husband Arthur, all three devoted brothers, George, Henry and Raymond, and her best friend and only sister, Emma Kaisler Huget.
Mrs. Krempin is survived by her children; Thelma G. Vogt (son-in-law Roland) of Appleton, Wisconsin, Mrs. Roberta M. Roloff (son-in-law Robert) of Green Bay, Wisconsin, The Reverend Dr. George F. Krempin (daughter-in-law Rita) of Green Bay and Janice K. Wahl (son-in-law the Rev. Dr. J. Philip) of Savannah, Georgia. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, dear friend Maestro Miroslav Pansky, nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, Clara Krempin would be honored by memorials to her above named church, First English Lutheran Church (920) 733-2303.
