Christopher James Watermolen

Christopher James Watermolen, age 39, passed away unexpectedly on Friday July 3^rd, 2020. Chris was born on January 21^st, 1981 in Green Bay, WI to Paul and Mary Lou (Dohrman) Watermolen. Chris was engaged to be married to Meghanne Blakeslee, with the wedding set for July of 2021.

Chris loved spending time in Wisconsin Dells at the Blakeslee family cottage, where both of his sons were baptized. Chris enjoyed going to Packer games, where he could be found with his face painted green and gold cheering them on. Chris’s dedication to his family was so incredible; there is nothing he wouldn’t have done for them.

Chris was hard working man and always did whatever he had to do to take care of his sons Mitchell, age 5, and Cameren, age 3, and his fiancé Meghanne. Chris’s life was a living example of always taking care of your family.

Chris is survived by his fiancé Meghanne Blakeslee, sons Mitchell and Cameren Watermolen; his parents Paul and Mary Lou Watermolen; siblings Tim (Melissa) Watermolen, Jason Watwermolen, and Nicole Watermolen; godson Anthony Watermolen, and his extended Blakeslee family.

Chris is preceded in death by his grandparents; Gen and Francis Watermolen and Raymond and Lucille Dohrman.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Wichmann Funeral Home Tri County Chapel, 1592 S. Oneida Street in Menasha on Friday, July 10th, 2020, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Social distancing will be enforced and you are kindly asked to wear a mask. If you are feeling ill, please stay home.
