Christine Ann Koerner

Christine Ann (nee VanderWielen) Koerner, age 74, of Appleton, passed away on October 1^st, 2021, at her residence. Christine was born in Appleton to Bob Zeutzius and Violet (Clyde) Keddell on October 19^th, 1946. Chris married Frank VanderWielen on August 10^th, 1963, in Appleton. Christine and Frank were married for 35 years until Frank’s passing on June 10^th 1998. Chris was then married to David Koerner in Crivitz Wisconsin until his passing on December 10^th, 2011. Chris worked as a data entry clerk for Central Products Company for 15 years.

Christine is survived by son Rick VanderWielen (Kris Smith); siblings Jeff (Julie) Keddell, Julie Costello, Tony (Lori) Keddell, Lisa Keddell (Ed Peters), and Sondra Koshuta (Jeff Baseman); grandchildren Thomas (Stacia) VanderWielen, Susan VanderWielen, Scott (Haley) VanderWielen, Nichole (Steve) Schilcher, and Brad VanderWielen. She is further survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Christine is preceded in death by her first husband Frank, her second husband Dave, son Mark VanderWielen, brother Dave Zeutzius, parents Bob Zeutzius, Clyde and Violet Keddell, sister-in-law Mary Pawelski,, and brothers-in-law Tony, Ted and John VanderWielen.

The family of Christine wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the entire staff of Heartwood Senior Living for all their care and compassion.

Funeral services for Christine will be held at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior Street, on Friday October 8^th at 12 noon. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until time of service with Deacon Don Schultz of St. Mary’s Parish officiating. Burial to follow at St. Johns Cemetery on Valley Road in Menasha at 1:00 PM.
