Christina H. Kurowski, age 66, of Appleton, died unexpectedly, Saturday morning, May 19, 2007. She was born May 4, 1941, to the late James and Mary (Upton) Withrow, in Akron, Ohio and had been an Appleton resident for 46 years. Christina had been employed by Kaukauna Klub Cheese, retiring 2 years ago. She enjoyed spending time with her family, knitting, country music, gambling, cooking and baking. She is survived by her husband, Frederick C. Kurowski, to whom she had been married for 46 years; three children, Greg Kurowski, Appleton; Jeff Kurowski, Appleton; Wendy (Scott) Weinert, Brillion; three grandchildren, Heather (Chad) Funk, Emily and Hannah Weinert; one great granddaughter, Kirsten Funk; 2 sisters, Jane and Clara; three brothers, Charles, Robert and James Withrow; her mother-in-law, Hazel Kurowski; a sister-in-law, Wanda (Dave) Wyland; a brother-in-law, Gene (Debbie) Kurowski. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ginger. Funeral services for Christina will be held at 4:00 pm, Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at the funeral home with Reverend Samuel Garbi officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 pm, Tuesday, until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
