Chester C. Wolfgram

Age 88, died on Tuesday, June 15, 2004. Chester was born in Appleton on November 10, 1915, son of the late Julius and Emma (Krell) Wolfgram. He was baptized at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church and confirmed at Mt. Olive Ev. Lutheran Church. Chester graduated from Appleton West High School in 1935. He was employed at Eagle Manufacturing Comp. In 1957, Chester went to Kimberly Clark, Neenah, retiring in 1981. Chester married Murna (Reichel) Vorpahl on June 27, 1959 at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran. He enjoyed his cottage and boating on Lake Poygan. Chester will be greatly missed by his wife, Murna; step-son, Roger (Rosella) Vorpahl; 2 granddaughters, Jackie Vorpahl (friend, Randy Koller) and Janet (Brian) Seidel; sister-in-law, Luella Wolfgram; great-grandson, Tyler Koller; 3 nieces, Nancy Kulick; Sherry (Dan) Jacob, Colorado; Edna (Roger) Kloehn, Grand Island, New York; great-nieces and their families, Randy Kulick; Kelly (Randy) Mohnon, Larsen; Alexander and Jacob Mohnon; Jerry Van Ryzin, Minnesota; other relatives and close friends. He was preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Omer (Dorothy) Wolfgram and Roland Wolfgram. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, June 19, 2004 at ST. PAUL EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 302 North Morrison, Appleton, with Rev. Ralph C. Waack officiating. Visitors will be received at the church on Saturday, June 19 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. The interment will be held at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. As an expression of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established.
