Charlotte Kain, age 64, passed away at her home early on Saturday, February 3, 2007. Charlotte was born in Green Bay on August 29, 1942, daughter of the late Joseph and Barbara (La Mour) Fleischman. Charlotte enjoyed being with her family, watching movies, shopping with her sisters, and going up north. She also loved the company of her two dogs, Gizmo and Sadie.
Char is survived by her special friend and caregiver, Paul Apitz of Appleton; five children: Deb (Todd) Nelson of Rhinelander, Wesley (Lisa) Kain of Appleton, Rick (Susie) Kain of Appleton, Shannon (Angie) Kain of Appleton, and Jesse Kain of Appleton; nine grandchildren: Justin Nelson,; Ryan, Adam, and Ben Kain; Ashley and Jacob Kain; Travis and Cheyanne Kain; and Tapenga Kain; two sisters: Ceil (Jack) Wunrow of Brillion and Gail (Bob) Laha of Darboy. Char was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband Gordon Kain, and a grandson Lucas Kain.
The funeral liturgy for Char will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at the funeral home chapel (3212 S. Oneida Street) with Sr. Annette Koss officiating. Inurnment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until the hour of the services.
Charlotte will be missed dearly – she touched the lives of many people in so many different ways. We love you, mom and grandma – you will be missed by all.
